Everyone has a story, and a dream. Unfortunately, for any number of reasons, many people around the world have not had the opportunity to pursue their passions, stuck earning a living instead of designing their lives. The Company has developed a program that will support a number of ventures each year, with early stage funding, as we front their back nine. With an ongoing Call for Entries, our team will continue to evaluate the proposed ventures. Our production team will then visit finalists, taping interviews, discussions and providing the opportunity to capture these personal stories on film.
Those awarded with funding will have an opportunity to work with a mentor, an industry leader from that space, as well as the financial support to help them through Stage I of development, at a minimum.
A number of these candidates will have stories that will be suitable for the development of feature film and/or TV screenplays.
In all cases, where BackNine Front has contributed financial, creative and structural support of a new venture, BackNine Studios will share in the eventual profit of the venture, retaining a small ownership interest. While the spirit of this division is philanthropic in nature, we believe in a profit with purpose. BackNine's percentage of net profits generated through this division will continue to perpetuate the development of new talent and products.
